Intermediate Copywriter (FCBSIX)

 

Job purpose

You have ideas. You also have the ability to write beautiful and compelling copy for a range of clients across a variety of industries, in a variety of media, with different tones of voice. You must be able to work comfortably and collaboratively with your creative partners, and work effectively with account managers, producers, and vendors (among others) to bring your ideas to life. You are team-oriented and success-driven.
Duties and responsibilities

• Bring ideas from concept to reality by collaborating other copywriters, art directors, producers, developers, and more
• Write compelling and brand-appropriate copy in many formats ranging from website copy to email communications, to social and beyond
• Identify creative opportunities “beyond the brief”, and be motivated to pursue great ideas
• Work collaboratively with account managers and strategic planners to ensure creative concepts, tactics, and copy tone are on brand and strategically sound
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, where projects often require quick delivery
• Be comfortable presenting work internally, and to clients of all levels– from junior brand managers to senior marketing clients
• Comply with AODA regulations and requirements
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures including health and safety
Qualifications

• Innovative and inspiring creative solutions in digital and 1:1 channels
• Experience in mass media (print, radio, TV, etc.) is a plus, but not necessary
• Curiosity, and a passion for digital media
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
• Be a team player – the ability to collaborate and take constructive criticism
• A strong desire to do brand-building, product-selling, and award- winning work
• A minimum of three years’ experience in advertising and/or digital media
