Account Executive, Digital CRM (FCBSIX)

 

Summary

FCB/SIX is looking for a kick-ass Account Executive who is looking to continue their growth in CRM, Strategy B2C and B2B advertising. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a driven self-starter, has experience in campaign development (email, direct mail, social, online) and a passion for all things digital.

As an Account Executive you will be responsible for the management of all projects on specific account mandates and acts as the key point of contact between the Agency, Integrated Agency Teams, and the client. You will work closely with various departments throughout the entire project (Strategy, Creative, Technology and Data / Analytics, Fulfillment) to deliver the highest quality work in the fastest, most cost-effective manner. You will build solid professional relationships and connections with clients within Canada and United States.

Duties and responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Keep clients up to date on all projects
• Works alongside account team members to discuss issues and solutions with clients
• Ensure all client requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner (working closely with project management team)
• Assist in soliciting the client’s perspective on key measures of success
• Keep all agency departments informed on client/account developments
• Keep senior accounts team informed on projects
• Proactive at initiating projects internally
• Keep abreast of all client industry developments, category news, and competition

Project Management

• Initiate new client project intake process and facilitate kick-off
• Develop internal briefing documents (creative, tech, and campaign project brief) for review by senior account team member
• Manage all day-to-day account activities, internal and external
• Play an active role in the creative development of projects
• Participate in marketing planning and assume responsibility for execution and all operational aspects of projects
• Prepare specific project documents
• Review all creative/production material at every stage
• Assist Account Coordinator in the preparation of all project-related instructions (if applicable)
• Analyze campaign results and prepare post-analysis for review by senior account team member
• Manage and/or assist account team members, and assist on other accounts as needed

Administrative Responsibilities

• Responsible for set-up and maintenance of account administration tools & materials: central files/server, reference materials, JIRA, etc.
• Manage, coach and develop Account Coordinator (if applicable)
• Review status of dockets with project management team to stay on top of project financial health
• Understand financial terminology and scopes of work
• Review draft agendas, meeting minutes and contact reports prepared by Account Coordinator for/following client meetings (if applicable)

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Commerce or Science
• 3+ years of experience in an account management/agency role
• Experience with CRM campaigns and robust technology platforms
• Healthcare experience is an asset
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors and external agency partners
• Demonstrated interest and passion for communications/relationship marketing/digital
• Detail oriented
• Outstanding organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong client management skills
• Proactive and independent problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills, both internally and with clients
• Budget management experience is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
• Strong team player with a commitment to excellence
